Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra—known as yogic sleep—is a meditation and conscious relaxation practice intended to induce physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Unlike seated meditation, yoga nidra is done lying down. It is guided to take your attention to specific places moving you into a state of conscious deep sleep. During yoga nidra, your mind is actually awake, so it is as though you are in the state between being asleep and awake.
