Host a yoga party, incorporate yoga into your next scout meeting or workplace wellness program, or fulfill your homeschool PE requirements with yoga! Whether your event is online or in person (contact us if available based on COVID-19 guidelines), we will provide a Certified Yoga Instructor to lead a one-hour themed yoga session ($150 for a one time event/party or $750 for a package of six classes). Yoga Parties Take the stress out of planning your party, whether an adult or child’s birthday, bridal shower, bachelorette party, girls night out, or baby shower. Our yoga parties are unique, age-appropriate, and customized to your needs. Do you prefer candlelight yoga, playful partner poses, or restorative yoga? We will include fun creative poses, breathing techniques, and music. Each session ends with deep relaxation. Let us know the age of your party members, type of yoga you like, and we do the rest! We can even provide yoga themed party favors for an additional charge. Yoga for Scouts Discover yoga, be your best you, have fun, and earn a badge! Booking a session for your troop is simple. Let us know the age of your scouts, troop number and badge you want to earn and we will do the rest! The one hour yoga class will be sequenced with the badge and age of the troop in mind. Scouts will leave feeling accomplished and with the basic knowledge of how a yoga practice can benefit their everyday life. | Yoga for Students We will customize a class designed for the elementary, middle or high school students in your homeschool or remote learning group. We emphasize safe, non-judgemental play and mind-body practices that can reduce stress and anxiety and cultivate coping skills. We will practice traditional poses, mindfulness, and breathing exercises to improve body awareness, strengthen and stretch the body, and calm the mind. If requested, we can incorporate mindful eating and other holistic health aspects while providing a fun and engaging experience for your group. Yoga for your Workplace Incorporate yoga into your workplace wellness program! By taking breaks in the workday for yoga to stretch wrists, arms, neck, and shoulders, you can help your employees relieve stress, refresh, and focus. We will provide a midday yoga break customized to the needs of your staff, whether working remotely or in person. Depending on your group, choose from Gentle Flow, Chair Yoga, or a more active Vinyasa Flow class. |
Tot and Me Yoga This class is focused on the growing mobility of the child as they move to crawling, standing and walking. It is yoga for ages 17 months to 3 years, so there are rhymes, songs, games, and yoga poses geared toward their development. The class is a fun way to introduce yoga to your child and share in the experience of exploring new skills, through repetition and interaction with other children their age. An adult must participate with the child but no previous yoga experience is required. Tween/Teen Yoga Tween Yoga is designed for kids from 7 - 15. In today’s fast-paced, digital world, children are pressured to grow up fast. Many need coping skills, and mind-body practices that reduce stress. This class will combine creative and playful functional movement, with mind-body work. Children will learn traditional poses, yoga games, and breathing exercises to calm the mind. Safe, non-judgmental play will be emphasized. We have mats to borrow, or you can bring your own. | Family Yoga and Mindfulness Family Yoga and Mindfulness is for families and children ages 3-10. Join us to play yoga games, explore yoga breathing, and do fun yoga poses. No yoga experience necessary. |
Thank you Nimaste Yoga for providing a wonderful learning opportunity for our Girl Scout troop by engaging them in an enjoyable - and sometimes challenging! - yoga class. By working in breathing techniques and a discussion on healthy eating choices, the girls received a well-rounded experience that better prepared them to balance stress with relaxation. The games taught them new yoga poses and gave them an opportunity to giggle and have fun while learning the fundamentals of the practice of yoga. Thank you for your willingness to tailor the program to our troop's badge goals and scouting level. We would highly recommend the experience to other Girl Scout troops.
The troop yoga class was both enjoyable and calming. The girls and the moms stretched body parts that were either dormant or that we forgot existed. We left feeling great!
