200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training 2024

Dates: 10/4/2024 to 2/23/2025

NiMaSte Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training CertificationAre you looking to take your yoga practice to the next level or do you dream of teaching yoga to others? We recognize your life is busy and everyone learns at a different pace, so complete your training over one or two years, as your time, budget and schedule allow. NiMaSte Yoga is a Yoga Alliance Registered School (RYS 200). Our curriculum meets or exceeds the standards set by Yoga Alliance. An RYT 200 certification is the professional standard for yoga teachers. Program graduates will be responsible for registering with Yoga Alliance in order to become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200).Choose a schedule that works for you. Our weekend based training system allows students to complete certification at their own pace over one or two years, paying per weekend as you go if needed.  Synchronous Teacher Training modules must be attended in person/livestream to receive a Certificate of Completion.

Power and Stretch

Cycle through a series of moves designed for both strength training and cardiovascular fitness. We will use our own body weight but also various yoga props and other equipment to add challenge. Finish with moves to help you wind down and stretch those tired muscles.

Baby and Me Family Yoga Series

Dates: Thursday, November 21, 2024 - Thursday, December 19, 2024

This workshop is open to parents/caregivers and babies who want to do yoga together! We combine baby yoga and massage with yoga for you! Classes are for babies not yet crawling. Recently pregnant people, please check with your healthcare provider before starting any exercise program; usually waiting 6-­8 weeks postpartum. An adult must participate with the child but no previous yoga experience is required. For babies not yet crawling and their caregivers.

Teen and Tween Yoga and Mindfulness

Teen and Tween Yoga and Mindfulness is designed for ages 7-15. In today’s world, many teens and pre-teens need coping skills, and mind-body practices that reduce stress. This class will combine creative functional movement, with mind-body work. They will learn traditional poses, yoga activities, and breathing exercises to calm the mind. Safe, non-judgmental movement and mindfulness will be emphasized.

Pause Flow and Give Thanks

Join a heart-opening practice to pause, flow and give thanks before the holiday festivities begin. Let your heart lead with compassion and gratitude on Thanksgiving Day as we sweep our thoughts and open our hearts. It can be a time for us to reflect and renew the relationship with ourselves and those closest to us. In this class we will explore the balance between effort and surrender. lengthening the front of the body, upper-back, and hips in order to free the spine, and strengthening and working from the legs and the core to create stability within the poses. Letting our heart lead is just another practice, like your yoga practice.
