200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training 2025

NiMaSte Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training CertificationAre you looking to take your yoga practice to the next level or do you dream of teaching yoga to others? We recognize your life is busy and everyone learns at a different pace, so complete your training as your time and schedule allow. NiMaSte Yoga is a Yoga Alliance Registered School (RYS 200). Our curriculum meets or exceeds the standards set by Yoga Alliance. An RYT 200 certification is the professional standard for yoga teachers. Program graduates will be responsible for registering with Yoga Alliance in order to become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200).Choose a schedule that works for you. Our weekend based training system allows students to complete certification at their own pace, paying with payment plans as you go if needed.  Synchronous Teacher Training modules must be attended in person/livestream to receive a Certificate of Completion.

Sound Bath

Dates: Friday, January 02, 2026 - Saturday, March 07, 2026

Join Marisa for a one hour session to fully relax the body and mind with the healing tones of a sound bath. The sound bath with include breathwork and simple movements to prepare and open the body for stillness and healing. Soothing therapeutic tones from crystal singing boles, chimes and more will focus on balancing the chakras. No experience necessary.

Kids Yoga and Mindfulness

Dates: Sunday, January 11, 2026
Location: NiMaSte Yoga
In-Person

A workshop for children ages 3-10. Join us to play yoga games, explore yoga breathing, and do fun yoga poses. No yoga experience necessary. Parents are welcome to participate, but must pay and be registered separately.

Teen and Tween Yoga and Mindfulness

Dates: Friday, January 16, 2026 - Friday, February 20, 2026

Teen and Tween Yoga and Mindfulness is designed for ages 7-15. In today’s world, many teens and pre-teens need coping skills, and mind-body practices that reduce stress. This class will combine creative functional movement, with mind-body work. They will learn traditional poses, yoga activities, and breathing exercises to calm the mind. Safe, non-judgmental movement and mindfulness will be emphasized.

Deepen Your Practice: Yoga Philosophy

Dates: Saturday, January 24, 2026 - Sunday, January 25, 2026

During this weekend you will learn the most fundamental aspects of yoga philosophy, including the Eight Limbs of Yoga, the Yamas and Niyamas, the Kleshas and more. We will be meeting Saturday 2-5:30pm and Sunday 12-2:30pm

Relax and Unwind

Dates: Sunday, January 25, 2026

Join us for a supported Relax & Unwind restorative yoga workshop to calm and reset. The support of props will allow you to completely relax and rest, while soothing the nervous system. We'll hold fewer poses, such as heart-openers and twists, for longer periods of time, and conclude with a lengthy savasana! Marta has studied with Judith Lasater and is a certified Relax and Renew trainer. If you attend in person, all props are provided but if you attend online,,you will need a bolster (or a rolled up yoga mat, couch cushion, two large towels rolled together), 2 blocks (or stack of books), and a blanket.

Continuing Education for Yoga Teachers Sequencing and Weaving a Theme

Dates: 2/6/2026 to 2/8/2026

Join Marisa and Nicole for a weekend learning, laughing and continuing to grow as yoga teachers. Come with a beginner's mind and your teaching and practice will grow! This is a great opportunity to get out of your usual teaching routine, nurture your creativity, and inspire your continued teaching journey.  We will cover: (a) Intelligent sequencing of asana using principles of anatomy and biomechanics as well as timing, (b) How and when to incorporate pranayama and mindfulness into your teaching in an authentic way, and (c)  Theming the class with yogic philosophy to add dimension to your teaching so it resonates more deeply with your students. This weekend course can be done online and/or in person.
