NiMaSte Yoga 200 Hour Summer Intensive Teacher Training Certification
Are you looking to take your yoga practice to the next level or do you dream of teaching yoga to others? We recognize your life is busy and everyone learns at a different pace, so our summer intensive training allows you to use your summer to receive your certificate by combining in person, live online and asynchronous content over 2 months.
NiMaSte Yoga is a Yoga Alliance Registered School (RYS 200). Our curriculum meets or exceeds the standards set by Yoga Alliance. An RYT 200 certification is the professional standard for yoga teachers. Program graduates will be responsible for registering with Yoga Alliance in order to become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200).
Our 200 hour program will cover:
Study of yoga asana and modifications (alignment, safe practice for individual needs, and benefits)
Principles of anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology, including breath awareness and pranayama
Sequencing grounded in alignment, biomechanics, creativity, and your unique voice
Observing bodies and guiding students with verbal cues, physical assists and use of props
Mindfulness and meditation to cultivate self-awareness in your practice and teaching
Yoga history and philosophy, including Sanskrit terms
Build your confidence through practice teaching and understanding the business aspects of teaching yoga

Choose a schedule that works for you. f you have more time to devote to teacher training during the summer months. our summer intensive is for you! It allows students to complete certification at a faster pace over several weeks. All Teacher Trainings must be attended in person/livestream to receive a Certificate of Completion.
Schedule and Pricing
NiMaSte Yoga Teacher Training Intensive live in person or online meetings will take place:
Mondays 6:00-9:00pm (3 hours)
Fridays 6:00-9:00pm (3 hours)
Saturdays 12:00-3 pm (3 hours)

Module 1:
Centering, Warm Ups and Taking your Seat
Module 2:
Standing and Balancing/Anatomy of Leg and Pelvis
Module 3:
Forward Bends, Backbends and Twists; Anatomy of the Spine
Module 4:
Inversions, Arm balances, Finishing Poses (seated) and Savasana; Anatomy of the Upper Body, Arms and Shoulders
Cueing, Assisting, Modifications and Props
Transitions and Sequencing, Bandhas, Anatomy of the “Core”
Module 6:
Restorative and Yin; Anatomy of Connective Tissues
Module 7:
Specialty Yoga: Prenatal, Gentle Yoga (Seniors, Chair, Special Conditions)
Ethics of teaching yoga; Business of yoga
Module 8:
Teaching for Anatomy, Subtle Body (Nadis, Chakras, Ayurveda, Doshas)
Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle, Yamas and Niyamas, Yoga Sutras
Final Teaching
Must teach 10 classes within 12 months before receiving certificate (verify with signatures and contact info)

Full Price $3,000* - can be paid in 3 installments
