200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training 2025

10/3/2025 - 2/22/2026

NiMaSte Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training Certification

Are you looking to take your yoga practice to the next level or do you dream of teaching yoga to others? We recognize your life is busy and everyone learns at a different pace, so complete your training over one or two years, as your time, budget and schedule allow.

NiMaSte Yoga is a Yoga Alliance Registered School (RYS 200). Our curriculum meets or exceeds the standards set by Yoga Alliance. An RYT 200 certification is the professional standard for yoga teachers. Program graduates will be responsible for registering with Yoga Alliance in order to become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200).

Our 200 hour program will cover:

  • Study of yoga asana and modifications (alignment, safe practice for individual needs, and benefits)

  • Principles of anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology, including breath awareness and pranayama

  • Sequencing grounded in alignment, biomechanics, creativity, and your unique voice

  • Observing bodies and guiding students with verbal cues, physical assists and use of props

  • Mindfulness and meditation to cultivate self-awareness in your practice and teaching

  • Yoga history and philosophy, including Sanskrit terms

  • Build your confidence through practice teaching and understanding the business aspects of teaching yoga

What makes NiMaSte Yoga Teacher Training unique?

  • Individualized attention: We have two instructors with decades of combined experience in the yoga field.

  • Intelligent Sequencing with Safe Alignment: Learn how to structure your class to honor the needs and intentions of your students, recognizing their unique anatomy.

  • Find Your Voice: We give you the space and encouragement to help you find your own teaching style.

Choose a schedule that works for you. Our weekend based training system allows students to complete certification at their own pace over one or two years, paying per weekend as you go if needed.  Synchronous Teacher Training modules must be attended in person/livestream to receive a Certificate of Completion.
